The Phonics Museum is based on a book called the Alphabet Quest about a boy who is visiting a museum with his parents. He thinks it will be boring until a suit of armor starts telling him about all the paiontings. Hope colored this knight.

Each week Hope has a new painting that follows the letter and sound for the week. She learns the name of the art, artist, the style and its history. She has a coloring page for the art work. Here are a few examples.

Hope made a monster mask while studying the Letter M.
Hope made a pictograph of the types and number of cars in our family including us, Meme & Granddaddy, Nana & Granddaddy, Aunt Nikki, Aunt Stephanie & Uncle Brad, and Aunt Kim & Uncle Terry.

Hope and Grace also made homemade butter this week during our first co-op with friends Emma and Katie. They had to shake the cream for almost 15 minutes before it separated. We poured off the buttermilk (basically skim milk - since it has no fat) and shaped the butter in plastic wrap. It was yummy on toasted bread.
